the door leading from the laundry room to the garage is have to be 20 minutes rated solid core door?

No, the door "may" be a 20 minute fire-rated door, or, it "may" be a solid core door, or, it "may" be a steel door with a foam core, the latter two options of which are not 20 minute fire-rated doors.

The "separation" (not "fire-rated") wall between the garage and the living space is simply that: "separation", no "fire-resistance rating" is required, thus no "fire-rated" door is required - a "fire-rated" door, though, is "allowed" to be used.
